The Evolving Role of OD in Advancing Diversity and Inclusion in 2025

Facilitated by: Carol Horner and Pati Mumma

As organizations continue to evolve, the field of Organization Development (OD) plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful and sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts. In 2025, OD professionals are uniquely positioned to guide organizations through shifting perspectives, emerging challenges, and new opportunities while maintaining a focus on inclusive leadership, equitable policies, and culture transformation.

This facilitated discussion will explore key trends shaping DEI in today’s workplace, including the evolving impact of AI on workplace equity, shifts in perceptions of DEI initiatives, and the dialogue around "merit-based" hiring versus inclusive recruitment practices. Participants will engage in an open and constructive conversation about the future of DEI, sharing insights, strategies, and real-world experiences to help navigate change effectively.

Join us for this timely and thought-provoking discussion to collaborate with peers, gain fresh perspectives, and enhance your OD toolkit for building a more inclusive and thriving workforce.
