90,000 hours, that is how much time the average person will spend working.  Considering that is a 1/3 of our life, we all deserve to feel connected and engaged with our work and organizations.  Engagement may seem like the latest buzz word but this topic and how we approach it is vital for the future of our workplaces.  It’s time to address questions like, what exactly is employee engagement?  Who is responsible for it?  And most importantly, what can we do to make our employees feel this way?

Whether you work in the office, from home, or a little of both, this topic is a crucial component for employers to consider.  The truth is if you want to effect change then you need to stop doing the same things you’ve always done.  Explore these questions surrounding engagement and learn why an individual focus is the key to affecting real change in the workplace.

For over 10 years Lauren transformed lives with her business in the health & fitness industry.  Now as the founder of Creating Strength LLC, she is determined to transform managers into leaders and change the way organizations show up for their employees.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communications, is certified by ATD in Leadership Development Programming, and is also an Everything DiSC Authorized Partner.  In a few short months she can add Master’s in Organizational Leadership to that list!  When she's not working you can find her spending time with her girls on the lake, reading, or walking her dogs.
