DiSC Assessments are designed to complement and supplement existing training programs and can help improve communication, ease frustration and conflict, develop effective managers and teams and so much more.  In our May meeting we will provide an overview of the DiSC-Based Assessment and the many ways it can be used within your organization to advance partnerships and influence decision-makers.  We will also share case studies and stories to support the idea of using an assessment within an organization and identify what to look for when selecting an assessment.  Please join our discussion of a topic that is relevant to all OD practitioners.


Our facilitators, Lori Smith and Cindy Tomcak, are ODN members and providers of the DiSC Assessment.


Lori Smith, President of Capstone Coaching and Consulting, Inc. has been using the DiSC Assessment in Organization Development efforts for 12 years.  She has used it as a part of highly integrated leadership development efforts, to help teams learn more about one another's "best ways of working" together and within the context of helping employees build more effective relationships.    Lori is looking forward to a robust conversation about how a tool like DiSC can provide a catalyst to more effective organizations where people really can do their best work -- together.


Cindy Tomcak, President of Shooting Stars Coaching and Consulting, brings hands on experience from the corporate world, utilizing and incorporating the DiSC Assessment to build effective communication with managers and sales teams.  She provides the opportunity for individuals to understand their own behavior and learn how and when to adapt their behavior to create and maintain relationships.  Cindy provides the opportunity to bring the best out of people.
