The starting point of strategic thinking and value innovation is to think differently, do different things, and do things differently. We challenge the conventional practices and common wisdom.  We rethink the ways we do things.  We revolutionize industries.  We reinvent our business models.  Ultimately, we provide a unique mix of value to our customers.

Participants of this session can expect to learn how iconic organzations have fallen and how to keep organizations strategically resilient, and how to build a strategic vision that continuously renews its value propostion to customers.

Our facilitator is Dr. Andrew Hoh, Associate Professor of Management at Creighton University College of Business Administration in Omaha.  He earned his Ph.D. in management from the University of Minnesota in 1976 and has been teaching strategic management courses at Creighton since then. He has facilitated more than 500 strategic planning meetings over the years. His client organizations include Kiewit Corporation, Cabela's, Omaha Steaks, Cox Communications, and WNS (India). He has earned numerous teaching excellence awards at Creighton University. He was awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Teacher Award by the Creighton Student Board of Governors in 1991. The award is given to only one professor out of about 1,800 at Creighton each year.  Dr. Hoh is married and has two sons.  His sons are neurosurgeons at the University of Florida College of Medicine and its affiliated Shands Hospital.
